TAMRA MCKINNEY grew up in Tucson, AZ where she went to school and attended the University of Arizona. In her mid 20’s she ventured out to California and to the East Coast and landed in Salt Lake City, UT where she raised her family. Throughout her youth, Mexico was frequently visited. Into her adulthood, Mexico became a very favorite spot. She loves the culture, the people, the food, the colors and all Mexico has to offer.

The Southwest and the beautiful country of Mexico have inspired her paintings. She paints with colorful choices and loves the brightest and most vibrant colors the most. The desert and the sea as well as the very special Dia de Los Muertos holiday are her main source of inspiration. Tamra works to provide originals paintings, prints, stickers and more at a price point that will allow everyone to have the opportunity to invite her work into their surroundings. You will find Tamra and her husband Ashley sharing their time between Los Barriles, BCS Mexico, Tucson, AZ and Utah and spending as much time with their family as possible.
